Security issue in QMC

Hi all,

I have a security enabled Qlikview file, wherein if I log in as admin in Qlikview Management Console, I am able to open the file,

whereas if I login as any user I am repeatedly asked for userID and password.

I have enabled NT Authentication in my security file.

I am using QV11 SR2 version.

Anyone please help me on this issue as soon as possible.

have you using section access?

have data reduction based on section access ticked in doc properties!?

ru connecting outside domain?

Hi Vidhya,

I think you are using "Strict Exclusion" with Section Access and trying to login into Access Point as ADMIN. You get in as an ADMIN when opening locally, but all the connections to server through Access Point are considered users. This is the reason you'll be blocked. If you need to Access then please add yourself as User.

The issue is not yet resolved..

For users alone, am not able to open the file,

if I login as admin, file opens.

Hi all,

If I open files from server, am not asked for password for some files.

and in some cases, userid and password are asked again and again even after keying the right ones.

what might be the reason for this issue?
