I suspect there should be aggr within sum:

sum(aggr(interval(...)), something)

Can't tell for sure without seeing an example.

tell me the exact expression where you get the eror

I don't see error here, it returns some result. Anyway, see if this is what you expect:

=interval(aggr(sum(INTime-VLateTime),ID), 'hh:mm')

Edit: In fact, I think that your expression is correct, the one without sum. Actually it depennds on what is the purpose of this calculation

=Interval (INTime-VLateTime,'hh:mm')

aggr(Interval(time(OUT_TIME,'hh:mm:ss')-Time(IN_TIME,'hh:mm:ss'),'hh:mm'),person)

change with your fieldname it gives you total hours

if i click the department i need to show the department wise late hours...if i click particular person it show the person late hours...

The person ID is one of the dimsnsions of the chart. Your expression without sum

=Interval (INTime-VLateTime,'hh:mm')

returns result per line, person / date.

My expression with sum and aggr

=interval(aggr(sum(INTime-VLateTime),ID), 'hh:mm')

returns result per person for all dates Use what you consider is more appropriate for your purpose.

Modify a little:

interval(aggr(sum(INTime-VLateTime),ID,DEPARTMENT), 'hh:mm')

You also maybe need a different presentation, not a table like this - but thisexpression should work in any case.

For this you need to calculate this inside the script itself. Considering the performance and ease of use.

PresentDetails:

LOAD ID,

Date(Date#(Date, 'DD/MM/YYYY')) as PresentDate,

Time( IN) as INTime ,

Interval(INTime-$(VLateTime),'hh:mm') AS LateHours,

OUT

FROM

(ooxml, embedded labels, table is Sheet1);

That's correct, if create it as a field in the script, front end is very easy.
