can you change you're data?

example :

Parent, Child

A,1

A,2

B,3

B,4

with that data, you can do parent and child easily by associative qlikview.

Regards

@ all - thanks for input, but the reflecsive transitive closure approach works well in selecting the data when A selected all child (b and c ) related values are filtered properly but within the listbox, it only hightlights A , both b and c are not getting highlighted as if those are not selected.

requirement: when parent A is selected both childs b and c should get highlighted in list box and also all realted data should get filtered in the report.
