Fixed Reports

I have a report which contains a pivot. What I need to be able to do is allow the user to print a fixed report. For example, if the user filters on certain parts of the pivot - when they come to print the report I can force it to be an unfiltered report.

Is this possible to acheive?

Hello Fiorano,

This is possible, indeed. Go to the Reports menu, Edit Reports..., then Reports menu in the dialog, Report Settings, Selections tab, Initial Selection, set it to Clear All. Each time the Report is printed, it will clear all selections first.

There has been a request change since your reply to my original question. The user now needs the report to display the current financial year's information. Is there a way to trigger a selection when the user selects the report button?
