Am I right to say that if I use before() function on pivot table, zero value will display instead of null

is there any substitute function that work like before() but will treat empty value as null

Rather than using function, you have an option to display the null symbol by replacing with some values. In the presentation tab, at the bottom of the window, in Null Symbol instead of symbol '-' as null or something. Or you can use NullAsValue*fieldlist or Null() function. Thanks, Siva Sankar k

Hi,

My idea was not to display the null value, apparently if i use before(), it actually display all the value in the dimension even if is null. Anyway I can tackle this? (i have surpressed missing value etc)

In that case you can check mark to enable the option "suppress when value is null" under dimension tab on the chart properties. Regards. Sivasankar
