Is it possible to develop applications in QV11 when I only have QVS v10? What are the implications?

Hi,

Yes it is actually possible to imitate the sample applications of QV11 with your QV10

But you will need to use macro to reproduce some new functions you can use readily in QV11

For example, the "Enable Conditional" in QV11 Dimension Tab in a Pivot Chart.

in QV10, you need to do macro to imitate how it works

Thanks for your reply, sorry I have Qlikview Server v10, so I'm wondering if I develop applications in QV11 and then make them live via access point through QV Server v10 if there are any implications?

Hi,

Basically you can just go ahead. But remember that there are some functions in QV11 that will not work in QV10. For example Condotional Dimensions and more. Just make sure you test everything again once on the server. And if you can - open and save on the server in version 10.
