can anyone suggest me how to upload qvw files into server as iam new to qlikview iam feeling difficult to do......

Hi...

U want to upload the File in Qlikview Server Right ?/?

First Make the Installation step of QVS

Make Sure that u have the administration rights

Make sure that all the QVS services are running

Than in the Document tab mount the path of where your application is residing.'

For full steps you can go to the Refrence Mannual

If you are an Qlikview administrator, you can simply copy paste the qvw files into the sourcedocuments folder for qlikview server from your local desktop to the server via remote desktop option. I did it and its working fine when accessed from Accesspoint.

Path:

Qlikview\Qlikview Management Console\System\Setup

+Management Services -> +Qlikview Servers -> select QVS@bisevrm\click on Folders

1.1 Now we will give the path for Root Folder means qlikview.qvw via click on Browse Button.

Root folder:

C:\QlikviewProject\Production\Dashboard

Hi Trisha,

I hope u have installed both qlik view desktop and server .

You have to go to "start>All program>there you would see the qlik view folder>click on qlikview folder>click on qlikview management console>System>setup

+Management Services -> +Qlikview Servers -> select QVS@bisevrm>click on Folders>in the root folder you have to give the path of qvw file that you have developed.

I have aqlready shown the print screen in my previous reply.

We have facing an issue in uploading folder.

We can't see the folder, browse icon etc

Qlikview\Qlikview Management Console\System\Setup

+Management Services -> +Qlikview Servers -> select QVS@qvsrv

i have qvw file in my local machine. then which is update daily. then i paste daily my qvw file in qmc server .
now i want my qvw file auto update in my qmc server.
