      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;for qvd generation first u need to connect to data sources like flat files, or datasources and then import the tables into the&amp;nbsp; edit scrip&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) u need to name the table &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; if u want to do aggreations u can write similar to sql&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) after from u need to write a&amp;nbsp; statement for generating qvd&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(store tableName into path .qvd(qvd) ;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3)then u need to drop the table&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) then u need to reload the application&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;after reloading go to the path and u will the avd for the specific files&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;hope it helps&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;In its most simple form, a QVD generator would load a table from a database, and then store it as a QVD file using the &lt;EM&gt;STORE table INTO table.qvd;&lt;/EM&gt; command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then if you want to get tricky you can look at incremental loading (script examples here: &lt;A _jive_internal="true" class="loading" href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1870" title="http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1870"&gt;http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1870&lt;/A&gt;)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
