    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to read files , plain text files, coded in EBCDIC instead of ASCII ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is because many of our files are downloaded from a mainframe and if we could load'em in EBCDIC and have QV to translate them to ASC we would save mainframe cpu to convert them to ASC...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not something so serious but it would be a nice optimization !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks !&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
