Hi all,

I'm having trouble displaying a variable number of rows in an object.

I have a straight table with a list of people ranked according to a set condition (say performance for example). I use the Rank function of QlikView to do this.

If two employees have the same score, their ranking is the same.

I would like to limit the object to only display the top 20 employees based on their ranking. However, if however many people have a tied ranking of 20th, they should all be displayed. (See attached file of an example).

So the object should display all employees with a ranking of 20 or less. The final number of people in the table can be more than 20.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Many thanks! I'm currently trying this out and I've almost got it working. For some reason the ranking is not working the way it should - I'll keep at it and let you know. But it limits the object perfectly.

OK got it working - thanks again!

The solution, from what I can gather, sets the ranking to either be a value from 1-20, or a null, and then we supress the null values.
