Hi,

Can you check memory usage during the procedure? Since you are usihg x86, I guess that Qv (and other apps that might be running) uses more than 2GB of memory.

If this is the case, you will need to upgrade to a x64 machine and qv desktop

Regards,

Erich

Hi,

When trying to add a new field to one of my reports (either by adding by a right click or from the menu bar) qlikview stops responding and crashes. After checking loggs in event viewer I've noticed the log at the end of this post. I have attempted a reinstall, but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas, is this a bug?

Faulting application name: Qv.exe, version: 11.20.11643.0, time stamp: 0x50c0ddcc

Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7600.16915, time stamp: 0x4ec49caf

Exception code: 0xc0150010

Fault offset: 0x0008167f

Faulting process id: 0xe80

Faulting application start time: 0x01ce10f59df87174

Faulting application path: C:\Program Files WC\QlikView\Qv.exe

Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll

Report Id: ef51d18f-7ce8-11e2-8c81-5c260a61f66a
