Qlikview Client different version than Server

Can I use a different version of the Qlikview Client on my desktop than what is used on the Server? Are there any downsides to developing in a higher version of Qlikview vs. what is installed on the server?

Yes, there could be compatibility issues. QlikView would only grant compatibility with the same version and release for both server and client.

Hi ,

You can develop in a higher version no problem. if you use newer features, they will not work in the older version server, not to mention bugs that prevail in older version which don't show in the higher version developer.
