publisher distribution and LDAP

Hi,

We have a distribution task by publisher, and here is the setting on qvw.

NTNAME is the field in QVW where we store "cn" object name for each user.

and the question is - How does the "check user identity on" works?

It's the CN data we have, how will QMC knows if it's the right Display Name?

Although we do set up connection from QMC to LDAP, but just want to make sure this is not a mistake.

If it's work-as-design, it's fine.

But will it still work if we select other values from the drop down list?

Then, we have distribution for section access qvw.

and this is the only setting we have in the distribution, and in the QVW, we store SAMAccount info from LDAP.

But why SAMaccount? wont "cn" works?

I'd like to really clarify how QV actually "distribute".
