Hi,

I want to add a pdf license agreement to a text object as a link. Can somsone please tell me how can I do this. I have tried to do it by add an action to the text object and launching an application on a path. This works fine If I do it locally on Qlikview desktop but this does not work when the QV file is accessed over internet. I have also tried to do it using a table link but that also does not work

The link tries to open the file at local absolute path c:\license.pdf.

Can someone please tell me what can I do to make the attachment accessible over the internet

Try using an Open URL action instead with the path to the pdf document as url. You can put the pdf document on a windows share that every user has access to or put the pdf document on a webserver and use the url to the document on the webserver.

Could you explain this a little better. I don't know the first thing about what Open URL actions are and would look like within Qlik Sense.
