I assume that being able to set (some) properties on an extension object involves some common QlikView-supplied ui/functionality. If I am wrong and the ability to set properties are specific to, and supplied by, the individual object, I apologize and will direct my questions to the supplier. Please let me know.</P><P></P><P>Assuming that the object does use common property "code"..</P><P>I switch to web view so that I can access the object properties (the object can only be configured in web view), I navigate to the Dimension dialog, select Sort By Expression and enter a sorting expression.&nbsp; I then close the properties dialog. If I re-open the properties, I see the sorting expression was saved, but the Sort By Expression check box is clear.
