      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi there,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Im looking for a way to extract parts of a field name I have.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the excel sheet the field name is '2013 Q1 Planning'&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So when I pull this into qlick view I get [2013 Q1 Planning]&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would now like to extract the '2013' from this field name and label it Year.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would also like to extract the 'Q1' and label it Quater. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And then have the corresponding values attached to theses fields.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please see my examples below. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Table A Is what I have, Table B is what I want.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Table A : What I have:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG __jive_id="45160" class="jive-image-thumbnail jive-image" onclick="" alt="Capture.PNG" src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/45160_Capture.PNG" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Table B: What I want:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG __jive_id="45170" class="jive-image-thumbnail jive-image" onclick="" alt="Table B.PNG" src="/legacyfs/online/45170_Table B.PNG" width="450" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If anyone knows how to do this or if it can even be done, Id really appriciate the help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;IMG src="https://community.qlik.com/legacyfs/online/emoticons/happy.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
