Hi,

Currently my team and I are finished with a QVW. We want to Put security in those scripts.

We need to set password to view our scripts,(Use Edit Scripts). Also we need to block other to edit chart properties etc.

So pls help me to set up those security in my QVW.

Hi,

This doc is too complicated to me, i'm new to qlikview. what ti want to do is

privent others to EDIT my Scripts and See my formulas by right clik on the graph.

Pls tell me how to do that in steps

Goto Edit Script window, File->Create Hidden Script, you will be asked for password, cut-paste the script to your new tab_> save. Close and try to open your script, you would not find, you have to goto again file-> edit hidden script-> provide password, you can see the script.

This is how you can secure your script.
