Does the "initial section based on section access" and "initial data reduction based on section access" work off exactly the same section access code, with the only difference being the option selected in document properties?

"initial data reduction based on section access" mean to tell qlikview that start data reduction based on section access.

let say u have section access in your document, and you did not checked this check box, so the document will ask user to enter user name and password, but the data will not be reduced for user, user still will be able to see all data.

but when you will select this option, then user will be asked to enter username and password and data will be reduced for that user as well. user will be able to see only data that you have mentioned in section access..
