Dear Folks ...

To release the assigned Document CALs

Documents > Userdocuments > Select the Document > Manage CALs and Users
In Case of Document Is not Avail then create a new document with the removed document name to which we assigned CALs and then release (by Adding a statement 'PgoAsXmlAlso=1'to edit Pgo file as Xml in Settings.ini file ) by checking the document name
Clear license and re apply again
Stop Qvs & Qms services now remove caldata.pgo file in qlikview server & user documents then Restart services

Among the above mentioned ways is this possible or not possible to recover the assigned CALs

If so When we do the 3rd and 4th options will the rest existing CAL assignment remains Same or we need to re Configure all the CALs assignment ??

Hi,

I dont know what you are trying to do, if you delete caldata.pgo then you will lost all Licenses on server (I think).

If it just one document, then just create a New document With the removed document name, than delete the document CALs manual, one by one.

All removed document With a assigned licence will get visible here, always in uppercase.

What if we re apply License with out removing any caldata.pgo , will be able to recover the assigned cals to the document??

I still dont know what you´re trying to do, do you want to wipe out all License on server?
