I am not using Qlikview to do much year-over-year or time analysis. Right now I am trying to compare different business segments within the company. I am not very attuned to script/programming, so I am having difficulties creating the charts I want to create (or the charts aren't compatible with what I am trying to create).

My main question relates to reporting, since I am trying to create a report where I can select a business segment and the whole report updates accordingly. Hence, all my charts will denote data from that selected business segment's field. The problem I run into is when I want all the segments on the axis or in a table for comparison, only the one that is selected shows, and I can't show what I want unless I unselect that segment field box (which negates the purpose of my report).

How can I manipulate charts so as to circumvent the issue of the segment field selection, and keep my report glued together with totals/sums/averages of all segments in charts as well?

Thanks.
