creating Log files in QMC

Hi all,

I have a question.

I have 10 application in my qlikview server. and i scheduled it one by one. Now if any files failed to reload because of error then I NEED TO SAVE THAT ERROR IN SOME WHERE FOR NOTIFICATION THEN CONT. RELOAD.

This is what my requirement is. and as well i have option that sending into email if reload fails thats fine but i need a solution for my above question also.

Hi,

For saving the log files :

Go to QEMC navigate through System->Setup->ReloadEngine->General(PFA for more info)

In Settings for QDS, please check normal logging and specify the path "C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\SourceDocuments"

You can view all the log files in the following path"C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\SourceDocuments\1\Log"

For more details about where log files are please check " Task Log Index" in the path"C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\SourceDocuments\TaskLogIndex"
