Pass Parameters Through URL with Spaces

I am trying to do some document chaining between Qlikview documents. I get it to work great when I am using a string or numeric values with no spaces. When I try to pass values with spaces it is not working. Below is an example of the URL that is not working.

Here is how I am building the URL

'http://l1pnchwedw02/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=Immunizations/Immunizations.qvw&host=QVS@l1pnchwedw02&select=LB28,' & '(' & CONCAT(DISTINCT ISLAND_DEPT.DEPT_EDW_DESC,'|') & ')'

This is the URL that is created and it is not working.

http://l1pnchwedw02/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=Immunizations/Immunizations.qvw&host=QVS@l1pnchwedw02&select=LB28,(EASTLAND%20PCC|NORTHLAND%20PRIM%20CARE%20CLIN)

I get things like this to work fine

http://l1pnchwedw02/QvAJAXZfc/opendoc.htm?document=Immunizations/Immunizations.qvw&host=QVS@l1pnchwedw02&select=LB27,(1234|54112)

Any ideas why this is not working? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Thomas,

I believe you may have worked it by now

But using quotes when there are spaces, is a work around

("User 1"|"User 2")
