    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are a few steps you need to take.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The user need to be assigned a Name license.&amp;nbsp; This can be done in the QMC or if you have Dynamic CAL Assignment turned on it will be done automatically when the user need a Name User (i.e. in step 3).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Install the local client on the user's machine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. go to file -&amp;gt; open in server and connect to the server.&amp;nbsp; This action will license the local client so the user can develop.&amp;nbsp; See this whitepaper for a full explanation of license leasing. &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-2993"&gt;QlikView License Leasing Technical Brief Paper.pdf&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. The user can now open QVWs directly (File -&amp;gt; Open) or create their own QVWs (File -&amp;gt; New)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;NOTE: Do not user Open in Server for development it is only used to get a license lease or give user level access.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

Unser Users&amp;gt; user management.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After that the user can lease the license from the server either by opening a document in the server or by setting the "default licnese lease server (Url)" in the user preference &amp;gt; locations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
