ETL-Job Process Monitoring Application

Hello Together,

Is there a way to monitor ETL-Jobs and applications (Views) with an another View.

I want to develop an application that monitors other all applications.

The monitoring application should indicate whether the applications and the ETL processes are successfully runs.

Is there already a view that someone developed ? Or a recommendation how that can be realized ?

In QlikView-land, that application is called the QMC or QlikView Management Console.

If you want to build your own, you can start from the logs that the distribution service generates. I'm not aware of any other exisiting tools.

Did you check out Michael T's System Monitor (QlikView Application: System Monitor v5.0.16) It may fill in part of your requirements.

With the help of QMC you can do that . System monitor application is not going to help you to know status of scheduled task in real time maner .

Hi,

Try using Qlikview Governance application :

or you can build a Qlikview application which may read logs, or generated QVDs and using ALERT feature you can e-mail people on specific conditions.

There are existing applications monitoring Qlikview logs that might help you as well.
