Hi,

Is it possible to get this layout in a container?


	Chart			Chart






	Table

If not is there any other suggestions on how to get 3 items to print on one page without having any selections that are made on the side also showing i.e. not choosing print page.

Create a new Report (Reports->Edit Reports...) and layout your three objects on a page as you like. Your report is published in the AP together with your document, so your end-users will be able to print the same layouts.

HI,

Create a new container object add 3 objects to it and then go to presentation tab select container type as Grid and then select number of rows and columns to 2 each

Not sure if it's possible to have 2 columns in one row and then 1 in the other all within the same container object. You could make the two charts on top in a container with 1 row and 2 columns and then just do the table underneath.

You can use two containers.

First two charts in a container (Container A) with Grid format

Then Create a second container with Container A and a table in it with Grid format.

To stick a container inside of another container you simply choose the container you want to be inside of the main container from the existing objects list. It will be prefaced with a CT.

Hi Anthony,

As you can see the file I have attached in the above, there are three Charts (CH01, CH02, CH03) in the first row.

Second row, I have created a container (CT01) and added two charts (CH01 and CH02).

Container Property/Presentation: Container Type = Grid, Columns = 2, Rows =1, Show Caption: unchecked

Third row, I have created a container (CT02) and added the container previously created (CT01) and added third chart (CH03).

Container Property/Presentation: Container Type = Grid, Columns=1, Rows = 2

* CH01, CH02, CH03, CT01, CT02 are Object IDs for the charts.

* You can adjust space by dragging the border.

It doesn't give an option to print the container - is this correct?

Unfortunately, you are right.

You have to create a report as Peter mentioned above and print from there.

or do a screen capture and paste it in a file and print

or make the container be able to miximize and print from the access point if you are using the Access point.

Bit of a pain that given that it's perfectly aligned in the container & also you can set the caption to pick up whatever selections you make therefore the heading always explains the charts & grid perfectly & you can't do that in report properties.
