Hi Friends,

Has anybody tried connecting to a remote Ms Access .mdb file? if so are you able to successfully read the data? could you post what are the steps one should fallow for that?

I have tried connecting, but able to read less than 10% of tables only successfully, rest all gives me zero records, though a local .mdb file works for me perfectly, it seems to be problem when we operate with access remotely

Thanks & Regards,
Rajesh

Rajesh,

Any DB connecting remotely will cause delay and performance issues and it will never be as fast as loading from local. Else you need to install the qlikview in the same remote desktop where you're pulling data.

Regards.

Siva
