Hi Team,

We recently upgraded our Qlikview from v11 to v12 and ran into an issue when we are trying to set action on a text object to open outlook providing recipient ID through mailto:<mailid> .

When user is clicking the object on access point <in AJAX mode>, it is giving an following error.

While, It is perfectly opening outlook window when using IE plugin.

It also used to work in AJAX mode in Qlikview 11. Please suggest if there is some workaround or any documentation suggesting that it can't work in AJAX mode.

Hello, While searching more on this topic I observed, there is a workaround & this functionality will work in QV12 SR3 & above, if one selects "Open in same window" checkbox. Regards, Prasad D.

This has been causing us problems for a while. Small problem but still, annoying.

Ticking the "Open in same window" checkbox in the URL action worked great.
