      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yigal,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oracle is as good with QlikView as any other database.&amp;nbsp; There are some specifics, I documented a couple here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A _jive_internal="true" class="loading" href="https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1321"&gt;http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-1321&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You have to install Oracle client.&amp;nbsp; You can use 64 or 32-bit client.&amp;nbsp; If you use QVS reload, use the same client as in development environment to avoid unnecessary complexities.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As for the tables/views - anything works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Michael&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please consider how quickly you would be able to do this using pre-built connector software. Here at Velos-IT we have delivered a number of successful implementations using our technology. Doing it manually from scratch with raw db connections and tables is likely to be a very time-consuming and risky task.
