Problem with hour dimension in graph

Hello,

I have a line chart with month, day, year, quarter, weekday and hour as dimensions. On the other hand I have serveral expresion which make my graph. When I choose month, day, year, quarter or weekday the chart displays my data fine. But when I choose the dimension hour, I get constant lines for all my expressions.

All dimensions come from a master calendar.

What can I do? See the attached file.

attach is your graph

the problem is that you conecct your calendar by date, so you can't use the hour field from the calendar

usually you'll create a diffrent table for hours

in your case i changed the dimension to take the the hour field from the fact table

hi,

The purpose of using the calendar is to see all hour values in the x-axis, if I use your solution I would have some missing hour values in the x-axis. Is there another way to solve this?

It's an alternative way of getting all hour values on the axis. Using master calendar is also possible, i guess probably your join has gone wrong or so to generate the qvds, tha't why for master calendar hour values coming all same.
