    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi Friends,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can able to access QlikView Management console inside MS Server 2012 using localhost for example&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="http://vuoksi.ddc.teliasonera.net:4780/QMC/Default.htm" title="http://vuoksi.ddc.teliasonera.net:4780/QMC/Default.htm"&gt;http://localhost:4780/QMC/Default.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, whenever i am trying to access with &lt;A href="http://vuoksi.ddc.teliasonera.net:4780/QMC/Default.htm" title="http://vuoksi.ddc.teliasonera.net:4780/QMC/Default.htm"&gt;http://servername:4780/QMC/Default.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am not able to access and it prompt me to enter user id and password. After applying credentials also it is not working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;QlikView version 11.20&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows server 2012&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help to resolve the issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards--&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nayan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

If you don't belong to the local administrators group neither the local QlikView Administrators group, it's normal that the QMC does not work or behaves unexpectedly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, if you can see and work normally with the QMC using "localhost" then you will need to engage with your IT team to see why the servername is not accessible using port 4780. It could be a firewall rule, proxy setting, proxy rule, etc. and some or all of them could be managed by group policies, meaning IT has to change it for your user (and the account running the QlikView services) so you can use it. Even some antivirus software block internet connections by default and you will need to add an exclusion.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
