Hi,

I have a qlikview document in which I want to combine some charts into a single report. I want to give the user an option to export the report to a pdf. I can create a macro that is called from button action , but I am not sure how to apply the current selected filters to the exported data in pdf

Can someone please help me

Create a report in QlikView and install a PDF printer.

The user opens the report, the selections are applied and he just print to PDF.

suppose I am accessing the report on the web, do I need to install the pdf printer on my own machine or the machne where qv server is installed? and If I printed it using macro, will the filters also be applied?

Yes, you can print the report using macro, but since you are using the server, the macro is not such a good ideea. Use normal reports.

I have installed pdf creator on my qlikview server machine. Now when I try to print the report using web, window opens that shows printing...and it goes on but nothin gets printed. Any idea if I am making any mistake?
