Accessing Qvw through access point

Hello All,

Need your help.

Consider that i am having adminstrator rights and i have put a qvw in the access point.

So am able to access the qvw from the same system but from different user in that system.This user is not the adminstrator.

Now i want to access the same qvw through access point from another system.

I brought the system under same workgroup.

This has to be done without Active Directory.

Please guide me through the problem.

1. Create the same user on the other system (no need to have same Workgroup).

2. On the new system, Open QlikView -> File -> Open in server.

3. Fill the QlikView server name in the "Server" textbox, tick "Alternate identity" and fill the username in the "User ID" textbox. You server textbox should look like "qvp://username@servername"

4. Click connnect, fill the password and you should have access to the Access Point

You can use server IP instead of servername.

But i want to access the qvw through the browser on the user system.

Then, in your browser enter http://192.168.1.33/qlikview/index.htm (use your QlikView server IP) and you will be prompted to enter username and pass.

It shows Page can not be displayed.What could be the problem

if you want to open it on browser side

then try this here put your Qlikview server IP then fill your username and password

hope fully you have to install plugin to make your application faster

Your server is not properly configured. There could be a lot of reasons.
