Hello,

I have some QV files which have section access with data restriction; I have currently two test files which both work when opened locally in the qlikview client.

1. This file uses specified userid/password, opening the QV file prompts for the userid/password

2. This file uses NTNAME and no password, it opens only if the computer opening it is logged into the active directory and it's name is on the list of NTNAMES.

Problem however is when I put these files on the QV server, and try to access them through access point on my browser (or anyones browser) they do not work.

We log into access point using our active directory credentials if that matters.

Also when trying to open the file which uses NTNAME, it still asks for a user/idpassword... Isn't it supposed to fetch the AD name from OS? And I did not have passwords on this file.

Even the other file with specified userid/password does not work either.

Can anyone provide any help on this topic?

Thanks in advance,

Stephan
