When you do a reload of the new week's QVDs, perform a STORE command on them and save them, into a different directory or using a different name. Then you should be able to reload in not only this week's data but also last weeks.

You can probably then store both sets of data in the same tables and either:

- use a flag to show whether it is this week or last week

- save the measures as different field names (means less likely to have double counting on the front end expresisons)

Jonathan

Hi guys looking for some kind of a solution.

I have a QV application where the client will carry out a full reload once a week where the data is always changing.

What they want in the front-end UI is to report on all data and show the differences/movements from the current week to the prior week that it was reloaded.

What is the best way to go about this?

The application loads from QVDs which are loaded from source once a week.

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
