Excel to Export not working on Desktop Mode

Hi All,

All of a sudden, in none of my charts, Excel to Export is not working. Either am doing it from the icon or right clicking and 'Send to Excel', in none of the case its working. I guess earlier it was working fine.

No pop up or no prompt is coming either. What could be the reason? Please help. I have 11.2 SR2 version.

Did you enable the "Allow Export" in the Document security settings?

Its already enabled there. I have checked. Still not working.

Are the objects you need to export inside a container?

Not at all. All are simple charts lying on the sheet.

Need to check again why suddently its not happening.

I can replicate the behaviour only when editing a cell in Excel while exporting a chart.

In addition, verify if existing Excel processes are freezed.

Probably not your case but the data can't be exported to Excel when you already editing some cell in opened Excel file.

Hi, all,

Unfortunately, I encounter the same issue. Our server with QV desktop is moved to a new location last weekend. So we have a shutdown and restart action. All QV schedules and nprinting report run good. But when I experiment data today. I found the "export to excel" does not work any more.

There is no excel file opened. And the table I tried to export only 20 lines.

I am wondering after restart of the server, anything special need be set for this function?
