Qlikview Queries - Help

Hi All,

need answer to following queries

1. Is it possible to design/ create 'Custom Tools' (say macros) that can be used in different applications to avoid usage repetitive series of tool?

2. About Customized application over the web, mobile and desktop? Can the same application be run on multiple platforms? if yes what are these platforms?

3. Data Security and accessibility in Qlikview?

4. API Integration in Qlikview?

5. Is it possible for the application to import from multiple data sets like .XLSX, .CSV, .SHP, .DBF etc at a time to process and transform the output to other formats like .XLSX, .JPG, .PPT, .SHP etc.

6. Is it necessary to get the data in native format only in QV for processing .

7. Whether or not digital map and data can be plugged in. If yes,
- what kind of format does it support like ESRI .shp format; MapInfo .Tab format etc.
- does it also support map tiles

1. You could build master apps and create themes. Furthermore you could use include-variables in scripts for redundant scripts. For macros see here: http://community.qlik.com/thread/1960

2. An app can run on all clients - the screen size and usability should be to consider.

3. There are several possibilities, for example active directory and section access

4 and 5. Yes.

6. No.

7. You meant such like google maps? - Yes.
