Hello guys,

at the Moment I am facing a Problem on a customer site. They are using QlikView SAP Extractor connector 5.8 IR (Update 7/4/13).

There are a lot of Tasks which gather the relevant DataSources from SAP-System. Some of them are for some reasons not returning, so that the customer Needs MANUALLY to delete the respecting rows Status S via Transaction /QTQVC/DELETE with the timestamp. This is a huge and effort not acceptable in production Environment. Unless These rows are not deleted, a new extraction can't be started

Idea is to write a script which, deletes hanging Job-rows from /QTQVC/STATUS .

--> A direct Access to /QTQVC/STATUS via DELETE or similiar seems not to be possible.

--> My idea is to use BAPI Connector or similiar to achieve the deletion.

Question:

-> Is there a better way to do this?

--> How to generally automatically delete rows from /QTQVC/STATUS

Any answers and snipplets are appreciated.
