file transfer - is it possible in qv

suppose i have staging machine and test machine.

we are developing in staging machine.

After completion of the dev i want to move .qvw into test machine automatically.

We have a folder location in NAS storage(FOLDER A) where developer put their source application.

we have different folder in NAS storage(folder B).

I want to move application from Folder A to B using publisher.

Please help

If you look at the QlikView publisher's reload mechanism it does a file transfer from Source Document to User Document folder internally. But I'm not sure if there are native commands in QlikView to move a file from one location to other.

In this case I believe we can use the Execute command available in QlikView to run any .bat file which can do that file copy or move.

HI,

PUblisher can distribute without reloading the Document.

MAeby you can use folder B as a mounted folder in UserDocuments. Then you can create a new task not for reloading but to manualy distribute the document into folderB
