Table Viewer in Direct Query

Hi,

I have a simple Direcy Query Qlikview application that works perfectly fine.

However, i dont understand why the fields that I have tagged as being "Dimension" fields dont show their values in the Table viewer. I understand that during the reload process only the dimension data is transformed into multple symbol tables. So I would assume that this also mean that I can view the data in the table viewer.

Attached screenshot show my dimension fields from the table viewer as if they dont contain any data (when I create sheet obejcts for them they certainly DO contain data though).

Is this a bug or any reason for this?

Hi,

Because this area you view the tables that are from QVD's, think that's it ... I believe it is a bug ... Since the columns that are in the section dimension are in memory.

I don't expect the direct table behave as a regular table. In my example, it has thousands of rows, but table viewer says "0 rows", and preview is not available.

OK,

But if you take one dimension, and put the column in a list, the rows appears correct?

This was a bug, i dont have this problem in SR05.

Nice, but I have SR5 and have the same problem...
