scrolling through values

Hi All,

If i had a numeric field that is in sequencial order, i was wondering if there was a way i could scroll through the values of the field instead of clicking, then clearing that selection then selecting the next one etc.

i dont think its possible but i thought i'd ask.

or maybe if i created a button that a clicked which will go to the next sequencial number?

Can anyone help?

Hi,

You can create a button which can actually increment the number and select the same from the field.

Another button will be needed to reset to the default value.

If you select a single value from a listbox then you can use the down arrow on your keyboard to move down to the next value. Use up arrow to move up.

This works also if you select more than one value -- the down arrow moves the whole group down by one value. The page down key moves the whole group by several values-- for example, select five values and the page down key will move down by five values at a time.

Sometimes, when I use this technique to step through just the available values I will lock the available values. Otherwise, QlikView will let me step through the grayed out values too and I usually don't need those.
