Hello,

I'm currently working with some database, that have and arrival table and a departure table, each with the field DATE.

They both in same format, and so i didnt have them as a syntetic key, i rename as DateA and DateD.

At the end of my script, im creating a Master Candelar, wich divides by quarter, weeks, etc.

I usually use only one Date in one table. What i do first is get the max and min date to know the range of dates im creating.

It usually goes likes this:

load

Max(PostingDate) as MAX_DATE,

Min(PostingDate) as MIN_DATE

Resident [Account Document Header];

Now, i need to do that but with 2 different date fields from 2 different tables.

To determine the max or min its just a simpe if, but i dont know how to extract form 2 different tables.

Any Ideas?

thanks.
