Hi,

I have two copies of my QlikView apps - one functional_copy that is available for the users and where I only build in new features after I've developed and tested them in the other copy.

Now I am facing a very strange phenomenon:

- I have a barchart where I used to take the values from an Excel list that is populated daily.

- Now I switched to taking those values directly from the database, which is whence they also come into the Excel list.

- That database table is not historized, there is only data for the present day andc there is no date field

-> so I will have to store the value in a qvd file on a daily basis.

The real phenomenon, however, is this: I have a textbox to test the COUNT I'm going to use, made independent of user selections with set_analysis - and I get two different results. The formula is copy-pasted, there can be no difference.

I'm puzzled.

Can anybody shed some light on this maybe?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

This appears to be solved. Clearly I was too tired and it was too warm yesterday for the simple and correct reason to occur to me - I had forgotten to update one of my two copies 😉
