QMC - Long running task

Dear All,

I've manually initiated a reload task from the documents tab but the task is running from morning. It has been almost 8 hrs and it still shows as the task is running.

I tried to disable the Enable reload option in Documents tab and clicked on the apply button but it didn't worked.

Tried to restart all the services but still no resolution.

Even i tried aborted the task in the status - tasks pane but it is still running.

I've attached the document log and it shows the task is not finished. I tried to delete the document log file but getting the error as The action can't be completed because the file is open in qvb,exe.

Let me know what other options do i have to fix this.

Hi All,

I am able to fix the issue.

I opened the Task Manager and from Details tab I stopped the distribution service. So now the task status shows as failed in QMC. If any other tasks are running, it will impact them as well. Since this was the only task running so i restarted the Distribution service.
