Current selection - create two separate worlds

Hi there!

I am using QV 10.

In my QV model I have two different worlds with no connection between them.

Each world is based on a different table with different fields. And there are in the same model because of lack of licenses.

Lets say that "world 1" is a table of employees with EmpID, EmpName, EmpPhone. And "world 2" is a table of products with productID, ProductName, ProdutPrice.

I have 2 sheets in my model, one for employees and one for products, and in each sheet I have the relevant filters and a current selection box.

The problem is when I, for example, filter the employees name in the employees sheet, I will see it in the "current selection box" in the Product sheet as well.

I want to separate these sheets completely !.

Can you please help me?

Use Alternate States for the employees objects or product objects

so if you create an Alternate state called Emp

you can then add that state to each object that is related to the employee table

Apologies, I don't think that Alternate States is available in QV10

check in Document properties

Hi,

You can clear your selection by go to Sheet Property/Trigger Tab/OnLeave Sheet/Add/ Clear Field

In that add the field which you want to clear.

Or else select Clear All option.
