hi all,

i have problem with hierarchy functions i want to create hierarchy of available data by a excel file which

is attached and only want data in hierarchy for the data available file yellow color please have look in file

Hi,

First load your data into a TEMP table.

- At least 3 fields: node code (the child), parent code, node desc

- you can use the WHERE statement with pk_data_details fiels (>=104, <= 178) to get only your yellow product

Secondly, use this temp table to create the hierarchy.

The hierarchy can be used only in the ListBox. the other objects (like charts) will only use the levels of that hierarchy in the order you pick them at the moment of the creation.

What and where is your hierarchy ? What is the node, what is the parent, what is the desc of the node (the child) ?

The field C (str_coa_code)for example has only 1 value if I take only the yellow products.

Perhaps, you just have a problem with your source file.
