Hi Qlikers.

I have realized that the buttons One Step Back and One Step Forward are useless as triggers.

When selection and change selection triggers are set up, these 2 buttons don’t do anything. While Clear All button works fine, Back & Forward don’t, despite of their selection changes. They really do changes in selections but they don’t shoot any trigger.

Does anybody know any workaround for that situation?

Does Qlik Tech know about it? Was that the intention?

Thanks.

Hello,

Can you clarify how exactly you have set these triggers up? When I set up two simple buttons with Back and Forward as actions, then they do actually fire an event to return all objects to a previous (back or forward) state.

What exactly is the behaviour which you are seeing?

Thanks.

Hi.

Sorry for the delay, I was verifying for 11.2 SR3 and the same thing happens.

Here is the example. The explanation is inside the document.

We need to be aware that any macro of these characteristics won’t work in that situation.

Thanks a lot.

I see what you mean. Technically Back and Forward make change in Field1, but this change doesn't trigger the action as expected.

Try to report it as a bug to QlikTech. Meanwhile, the workaround is to create your own Back and Forward buttons, and include all actions you want right there.

Regards,

Michael
