Creation of new theme.

Hello,

Can anyone share with me about creation of new theme in qlikview.

As I am new to this I would like to know about this.

Hi Deepak,

From Qlikview Help :

"A QlikView layout theme is a set of formatting properties that can be applied to a whole QlikView layout or to parts thereof"

To create a new theme or to update an existing theme or to apply a theme, you can go to

Properties - Layout

of any object.

In Layout tab, you will have an option to apply predefined Qlikview theme (Apply Theme) or to create a new Qlikview theme or update one (Theme Maker). The wizard is available for creating new theme which will guide you step by step.

Hi Deepak,

first you need to make a Theme using Sheet Propertie - Theme Maker option...

you need to make settings(like Image, zoom, color) for on Sheet and you can save it as

your own them and when ever you want you can Apply it, Using Apply Theme option...

Hello All,

We have got one page in HTML format,it is having CSS structure also.

Now our task is to design same structure in qlikview.Can anyone tell me what will be the procedure for this.

Ideally rather than a theme, I have used a template QVW file that has a layout and controls as well as some of the code predefined. I found this better than using a Theme.
