Pivot table how to use Aggr to compute Diff % ?

Hi All

I try to compute the Diff % using Aggr, my script not work. hope some one can assist me.

	MAKER	JAPAN	JAPAN	USA	USA
Diff %	Item description	COST	Model	COST	Model
-25%	APPLE	5	TS1100	4	MT4512T
17%	BANANA	10	TS110	12	MT4512
My question is how to compute Diff % on last column ?

Hi Paul,

You can't use "Column" function to compute a dimension. What you can do is make it as an expression then drag and drop your column where you want.

In your expression, what you want to do, if I understand correctly is to compare the Japan cost to USA cost ?

You are few who are have good knowledge on pivot table. Many thank it work fine now.

Just go one step further , not sure it is possible ? As i was add one more brand . i notice that 2 brand compare still work but 3th brand unable to work any more. any work around ?

May be i should compare Brand A and Brand B , then compare Brand A and Brand C again in another table. But still not sure how to go about it.

Hi Paul,

The problem comes from the fact that your third dimension doesn't always match with the two others. For exemple, for the dimension DESC, you have always the three Brand : HAKKO, KINCO and WIEVIEW. But for the Model, you don't have always the three brands unfortunaly.

I didn't fine a solution yet, but I'm working on it.
