Auto Populate Chart Title from ListBox field

Hi fellow Qlik Community,

Not sure if this is doable..but lets see how far we can get to the solution.

Question

Is there a way to automatically display the Chart Title, based on the ListBox field I selected?

As an example, I have a field "BMW" in a ListBox. I have a chart created as well to display the number of cars sold from Jan to Dec. So, when I select the "BMW" from the ListBox, the word "BMW" will automatically be populated into the Chart Title.

Any suggestions is highly appreciated!

Say your field is CAR and one value is 'BMW'. If you want to see this selected value in the title, simply put the field name i.e =CAR in the title setting field

This is very good. I got the List Box field populated into the Chart Title.

One last thing, i would also like to concatenate the word "BMW" to be like below on the chart title:

Total Number of "BMW" - July 2012 - July 2013

Hi,

You should be able to this in your title by using =Car & ' - July 2012 - July 2013'

try this:

= 'Your Desired text' & CAR & AnotherField

Note: '&' is concatenation character. a text has to be within single quotes and no quotes are required for field.
