Hello Qlikview Community,

I am concerned with concurrent users for a web hosted qlikview dashboard. Does anyone know of a good way to run a stress test for our qlikview dashboard? Is there a particular tool out there that works well, or is made specifically for, Qlikview?

Thanks all!

Alex

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the suggestion; this will definitely be good for testing the web server. Any ideas for testing from the front-end? We were hoping to stress test individual applications since we share a production server with other applications.

Thanks!

Alex

Do you mean stress testing in QlikView Desktop? I'm not aware of anything that will allow you to run through a script on a desktop app in the same way that JMeter does on a web server.

If you are worried about hurting production server performance you could look at getting a migration server licence for a short while and test against that. If you were to run this on a machine with more modest hardware than production then it would test the applications under a worse performance scenario.

Steve

In addition to this you can use HP Load runner which is very simple and gives expected results as you required.

Thanks

Vikas
